I look forward to working with you to make your wedding meaningful and beautiful. I serve as pastor of a gorgeous rural church near Cambridge, Wisconsin.  I live in Stoughton, Wisconsin, and would be happy to travel to parts of Dane, Jefferson, and Rock counties for your wedding.

Many people comment after weddings I have officiated at that I gave a sense of really knowing and cherishing the couple. They loved the sermon, and found the ceremony beautiful and inspiring. Couples who prepare for a wedding with me also consistently feel that they grow together as a couple as a result of our pre-marital coaching meetings.

My wife is a librarian. We have one son, a two year old, and are expecting another child soon, a daughter.  We have been married for ten years, and love the joy that comes with growing together as a family.

I have served as a pastor for over five years. Prior to pastoral ministry, I worked as a youth director, camp director, and missionary/educator.  I am currently studying towards a Doctor of Ministry at Fuller Theological Seminary. I am on the board of Interfaith Coalition for Worker Justice in Madison; serve on the board of the Koshkonong Historical Society; and provide leadership for youth ministries in our synod.

I am a singer and musician, playing guitar and mandolin. Hobbies include running, reading, and writing.  I love weddings, and look forward to working together with you to make yours joyous and spiritually rich.
